The Passeier Valley is a hiking paradise par excellence. The possibilities for cultural excursions such as to the Jaufenburg, the birthplace of Tyrolean patriot Andreas Hofer (Sandwirt), the Pfandleralm or to the St. Hippolyt church are in abundance.

Next to the Passeier Valley is the Natural Preserve Texel Range, South Tyrol's larget nature preserve, with an area of 33,430 hectares. A panorama hike along the Passeier high road offers a wonderful view of the Merano valley kettle.

The Merano High Road has many breath-taking views and amazing tours. The route, over 100km long, stretches across many terrains to make your hiking experience unique and wonderful. The high road will take you past many mountain lodges, which provide wonderful snacks to strengthen you along the way.

The hotel offers two or three interesting hiking tours each week.

The selection includes simple, pleasure hikes as well as challenging summit tours.
